An Air Arabia flight sure to Sharjah was grounded on the Coimbatore Worldwide Airport following a fowl hit, throughout its take-off, on Monday morning.
Airport authorities and a supply with Air Arabia stated {that a} large-sized fowl, suspected to be a kite, hit one of many engines of the plane when it was taxiing on the runway for the take-off, at 7 a.m.
The pilot aborted the take-off and the flight, with 162 passengers and crew on board, was moved to an apron. The passengers have been deplaned from the plane.
Airport Director S. Senthil Valavan stated that flight engineers have been attending to the plane to repair the injury attributable to the fowl hit.
