Allegations of sexual harassment at HCU, college students stage protest

College students of Hyderabad Central College right here took to protest on the campus on Saturday over allegations of a male professor making an attempt to sexually assault a lady pupil.

The younger pupil was a overseas nationwide, and the alleged perpetrator was a professor within the Division of Hindi. The incident was mentioned to have taken place throughout a celebration attended by college students and a few members of school on Friday night. It was alleged that the professor even beat the girl she resisted his try.

Scholar union leaders mentioned that the College officers ignored its calls, and have been delaying in initiating motion towards the alleged professor.

In the meantime, it was learnt the sufferer pupil has approached the Gachibowli police and submitted her grievance. The police are but to verify if a case was registered and associated expenses have been pressed.
